Embraer Q2 deliveries boost revenues

Embraer saw a 29.5% increase in revenue in second quarter, reaching $1.769 billion. This was driven by an upshot in the manufacturers’ commercial aircraft deliveries.

The manufacturer delivered 35 commercial aircraft last quarter, up from 26 deliveries, leading a year-on-year revenue growth of 27%. It ended the corner with a firm backlog of $18.5 million.

Specifically concerning commercial aircraft, Embraer saw a 27% growth over last year, representing 61.5% of the Brazilian manufacturers consolidated revenues.

Embraer’s most popular jet was the E175, seeing 31 deliveries in the second quarter, whilst the E190 and E195 saw two and four deliveries respectively. The manufacturer also received 22 firm orders for its E-Jets this quarter from five separate customers.

Adjusted EBIT, EBITDA  were 9.3% and 13.9%, a vast expansion from last year. Net income increased substantially, nearly tripling, keeping up the recovery from last years loss seen in the first quarter.
