Aeroflot orders 20  additional SSJ100s

Aeroflot have signed a firm order for 20 Sukhoi Superjet 100s at the MAKS-2017 International Air Show.

This follows a firm memorandum of understanding (MoU) the airline placed for 30 SSJ100s last year. The new orders were placed with VEB Leasing and JSC United Aircraft Corporation are expected to start delivery to Aeroflot this summer and be completed a year later.

The aircraft will be placed on domestic routes throughout Russia, CIS countries and various European destinations.

Vitaly Saveliev, CEO of PJSC Aeroflot said: “We are putting Russian aircraft into the skies, helping to fine-tune them, and deploying them widely on commercial routes. I am confident in the further development of our cooperation in the interest of Russian aviation and our country as a whole.”
